I got a job interview later today. Finally got a call back from the company that designs/builds hydrovac trucks. I applied for two positions, an engineering designer, and engineering manager/leader. So this interview can either go bad, good, or really good!

When they ask why you want to work for them, you should tell them you think their trucks really suck...

What if you get two jobs!? That would be awkward but the pay would be nice.

Best of luck, guy! I love hydrovac trucks - used to run a maintenance department for a hydrovac operation in New Mexico. Which company, is it SuperSucker or GapVax?

Nice trucks! I don't have any experience with them, but their site shows some pretty nice features. I like the mud scraper - all of our trucks were lift dumps which is a major pain in the ass lol.

I have had previous experience with designing a truck that can recycle its own water supply, so hopefully that makes me far more valuable :D

That's awesome! That would be a huge boon, since many times the trucks are sent long distances away from society. Reducing the number of support vehicles that have to convoy could be a big help. How many times could it be recycled before needing to be purged/refreshed?

Not sure, the design kept getting altered after I left, the goal was indefinitely. It used a cyclone, shaker table, centrifuge, and flocking tanks to separate silt out.
